Cairns Airport security incident

They are painful exercises having had the privilege of being part of one in Europe.
The most time consuming bit was once everyone one was ‘out’, then having officials comb the terminal, apron, aircraft to ensure everyone was out, took hours.
I wonder if they would call back aircraft on taxi out, pushback, to return to the terminal.
