Does anyone know the calorie content of a typical Qantas inflight meal?

No idea but it's a good question. I know they have a 'low calorie' option for a SPML, but i'm guessing it's not the best cuts of meat (leanest) etc in the regular ones (nor the low calorie option for that matter).
In fact, they no-longer have a low-calorie (nor low-fat) option for domestic flights, at least. I could choose a fruit platter, or gamble on the vegan meal being low fat, but I'd rather not.
I don't mind too much if the meal is high in calories, but it would be nice to know just how high so that I can budget it in to my daily calorie allowance, or eat only 1/2 or 2/3rds or whatever is necessary to get the count right without starving myself.
Diabetic Meals (DBML) will now meet the dietary requirements of the Low Fat Meal (LFML), Low Salt Meal (LSML) and Low Calorie Meal (LCML)
<snip>
And the champagne will be roughly 100 calls per glass.
Calories is such an Americanized term. We should be using Kilojoules down under
I won't get started on calories or Calories thenWe never used Kilojoules in the UK either, I think it reflects old style Imperial measurements. I still find myself confused with Kj counts on packets, I must be old fashioned

The Diabetic meal is the LFML replacement:

It's actually "kilocalories" if you want to get technical.
...making them the Low Taste Meal.
True but Calories are easier to count and remember than KiloJoules as they are smaller numbers.Calories is such an Americanized term. We should be using Kilojoules down under
