Can anyone recommend a good domestic cleaner in Melbourne?

Hi Guys,

I am looking at changing my current cleaners. I use a company that covers the CBD/Inner Suburbs at the moment, but am not really happy with the service I get from them to be honest - and no way would I leave them home alone, which in itself in an inconvenience as I end up 'working from home' which is difficult with vacuums and such going on in the background.

I usually only have the place done once a month, though may consider fortnightly if they are decent.

Not a big job. Purely domestic - 2 x bedrooms, 2 x bathrooms, and all the normal stuff.

Located in Melbourne CBD.

I don't mind going directly to an individual - or using a company, I just want people who are reliable and actually do a good job.

If anyone has any recommendations I would be most appreciative! :)

Cheers,

Misha

If you leave me the keys to your wine cellar I'll do it. View attachment 2651

As soon as my email notification said "TonyHancock has just replied to a thread..." I knew not to expect anything serious! ;)

Unfortunately unlike my Grandfather I have no wine cellar (he had his own vineyard so rest assured it was a decent one!) but merely a cabinet in the lounge-room where all bottles go... though honestly whilst most is horrible stuff there are a few good drops in there. If you come clean my place for me - I will tell you where to find the real good stuff (not in the lounge-room, I can tell you that much!)

I have a cleaner who does a good job and are pretty reliable (in 3 years they've only failed to turn up twice and always apologised afterwards). $80 for 2 hours (or 2 ppl x 1 hr) cleans our 3 bed apartment in the city fortnightly. PM me if you want a contact number.

I'd like to recommend a neighbour of someone I know through AFF.

She can be a little bit abrupt, but does a really good job on your cupboards and makes sure things are 'put in their place'.

She's actually inexpensive too- only charging a 1kg bag of home brand sugar per job.

Let me know and I'll ask the person on AFF if they would ask their neighbour.

:lol::lol::lol: I think I may have wet myself a little just now

Off to change pants before heading to meeting... :)

Would it also involve cleaning up after nosy neighbours have been around? :p

Hmm, prices have gone down. I used to have to fork out a jar of star anise as well.

We have Dazzle Me handle our apartment in Southbank. Pauline works out great for us.

Thank you - I have also been given a recommendation by opusman. Next week I will take some time to look into both of these.

Much obliged.

Once you get a million or two points you will never be home for long!
