As long as it is a domestic flight numbered QF400 and above which all depart and arrive at domestic terminals.

QF flight numbers QF1-QF399 depart and arrive from international terminals which is where the LAGS (liquids and gels) screening takes place.

The usual security screening points at domestic terminals are just checking for items not permitted to be taken onboard such as knives, tools etc.

Only post screening liquids OK. A convenient outcome for the purveyors of duty free liquor!!
