Can I use benefits of KF status whilst redeeming miles/SC to Velocity?

We have an upcoming flights CNS-SIN-HKG return booked direct with SIA (Y/M fares).
I have KF Elite Gold from a status match to my expiring VFF Gold, the latter which will have expired before we travel.

Will it be possible to use priority check-in and luggage from the KF status but still redeem the miles and SC to VFF?
Currently when I log in to KF the booking doesn't come up automatically, and if I locate it by booking reference I have the flight set to redeem to VFF. Would I have to change this to redeem to KF in order to utilise any perks?

Thanks

You can definitely do that ; simply present your boarding pass and show your KF status on your app.

Unfortunately this didn't work as anticipated. I called Singapore Airlines and amended the FF number on my booking to Velocity, and ensure this was reflected on the online booking page.

Showing the Krisflyer status at the gate got us priority checked baggage, but it must have also caused a change to where the FF points would be allocated, as the outward flights didn't credit anything, anywhere, and the return legs got credited to Krisflyer.

I submitted a Velocity missing points claim for the outward flights which were initially rejected with no reason given but stating to telephone them, which I did, and was told they would submit a manual claim which should have credited by Friday of last week (it hasn't). And I emailed Krisflyer regarding the points having being sent to them in error, and they told me tough luck they can't undo it, all I could do is a points transfer between programs, but I won't get any status credits, and would lose 50% of the points in the process - so pretty disappointed with them!
