can I use the qantas first lounge on a BA ticket

Hi all I am new to posting have been a long time reader, I have a question re the first class Qantas Lounge in Sydney my wife and I are travelling to France in May June she is on a first class ticket with BA returnee, I am on a one world round the world ticket .
we are both flying out on BA16
I know from past trips that I can use the Qantas first class lounge but can my wife use the lounge or do BA have a first class lounge in SYD

Yes, you're both eligible to use the Qantas First Lounge.

BA does not have its own lounges in SYD, and you'd only need to be departing on oneworld flights in First or have OW Emerald status to use the Qantas First Lounge.

FWIW, Your wife travelling First could get you into the Qantas First Class lounge on her ticket alone:

Fly - The Qantas Club - Lounge Access

Qantas International First

First customer and 1 guest can access lounge on day of departure when travelling on a QF or BA flight number.​
