Can we drop off luggage 12 hours in advance

I am planning to take a Singapore airlines flight from Brisbane on 16th Jul. If the scheduled time is 9:20 AM , can I drop off my luggage the night before between 11PM-12 AM as I will be flying in from Melbourne and don't want to carry the luggage with me to the transit hotel. Appreciate any suggestions or best way to avoid taking around my luggage. Thanks

I think your only chance is if you can check the bags through from MEL to your final destination, in which case you will not collect them in BNE. You will not be able to drop them off at the BNE Domestic terminal for an onward SQ flight the following morning. SQ246 departs BNE at 11:50pm, but the check-in desks open at 11pm will only be processing check-ins for that flight at BNE International terminal. I think you will be collecting bags at BNE Domestic terminal and checking in at the BNE International terminal the following morning.

The only way to avoid carrying bags to your BNE overnight accommodation will be to store them at the airport in some locker facility (not sure if that exists these days) but will be quite inconvenient as you will arrive at the domestic terminal and depart the following day from the international terminal, so will require transiting between the terminals with bags either upon arrival of on day of departure.

i think your out of luck - SQ don't open bag drop or checkin until 3 hours before departure - i know in my case i'm on SQ246 and will be there about 4.5 to 5 hours early (the plan is to have my wife pick me up from work at 6, have dinner with the kids and she will drop me off and go - i'm travelling solo)

i expect to get there about 7 to 7:30 and will wait until 9 to check in
