Hi there

I need 470 SCs to to reach WP by the end of Oct. I have browsed the previous posts on this matter and it seems to me the cheapest (JASA points + cash) way to reach this in points is:

Departing SYD and I am happy to spend 1-2 overnights. I also have a friend I can visit in TSV.

SYD-BNE-TSV (return) in J class for 48k points + $200 (approx) - giving me 200 SCs
TSV-BNE-DRW (return) in J class for 48k points + $240 (approx) - giving me 280 SCs

I would also earn about 16,000 pts, bringing the total down to 80,000 pts + $480. I realise the other popular status run is to Fiji (such as MEL-SYD-NAN return) but this will only get be 360 SCs and will cost me 100,000 pts + $915 (approx) according to QF website. Which means I would still be 110 SCs short.

Thanks for your insights!
J

I guess the obvious question that someone will ask you is if you need that many SCs Is it really worth the chase :?:
