Hi, wonder if anyone has experience with this
We are a family of 6 and quite frequently it works out much cheaper to hire 2 small cars than a people mover when on holiday (most 7 seaters can't cope with 6 and the necessary luggage anyway).
I've recently been comped Europcar Elite via VA WP which gives you a free supplementary driver.
So, I'm thinking I could book two cars under my name which would mean that Mrs andye and I could each choose which car to drive. It would have the additional benefit of triggering the bonuses more quickly and increasing the chance of requalifying for status.
Can anyone see a problem with this cunning plan?
Thanks

I did it with both Europcar and Hertz in BNE last year with no problems. You do get quizzed at the counter a bit though ;)

Thanks for that. The last couple of times I made bookings for similar cars in my and wife's name the rental company said they wondered if I'd double booked. can undetstand some quizzing if 2 cars in same namr

I've done a slight variation with Europcar. Had a rental in two cities simultaneously. The only issue I had was that the first rental posted as normal but the second didn't post. I did a retro claim on the second and a month or so later it came through.
