Can you use smartgate when travelling dom with D sticker BP

Have a few JQ35, JQ3 domestic legs booked for obvious lounge reasons

Just want to know is it ok to use the smartgate to exit the Intl terminal quickly - when the systems detects that your passport never left the country first.

or do you have to join the lengthy 'foreign passport' queues.

Please share your experiences.

Don't try it. System will say no (at best) and refer you to an immigration officer who will not be happy.

You don't need to join the "foreign passport" queue, the Diplomatic/D sticker type lane is fine and normally means a fast exit.

Just ensure you have the correct ID with you for the flights.
