Hi all,

Well did America on AT&T $15 for 30 days prepaid sim($2 a day when used). $10 for international call minutes.
What and who do you use in Canada?
Will need calls to Australia too added on.

Is this ment to be in another thread?

You have a few options for Canada. They have a lot of small carriers, much like we do here. They all offer reasonably priced pre-paid offers. Usually they don't include data, but you shod be able to add international calls.

You should look at Fido, Boost, Koodoo and others.

If you want data you can look at one of the bigger carriers. Bell, Telus or Rogers. Rogers has a few plans that are around $45 a month that include calls and data. You can easily add on international calls for a reasonable price.

Let me know if you need more details.

IME - the simplest is just to buy a Rogers SIM card when you land.

Easiest and simplest approach.

That said - I also have an AT&T Gophone SIM card and as of this year I believe you can "roam" to Canada with Gophone (previously it stopped at the border).

If it's a US/Canadian combo trip and you only need a few calls - it may be cheaper and less hassle.

But otherwise - I'd just buy a Rogers card.

AT&T roaming does work now, but it's really expensive. Don't bother with it.

Appreciate the responses.
Probably get them to SKYPE me.
But as ROGERS is recommended...is there a best option to go with. ie $15 prepaid and then $2 a day unlimited with $10 for international calls(At&T had this)

EDIT: I went to the website and I can only find plans???
Where is the prepaid link and rates?
