Hi There!
I am from Canada, where I mainly fly with Air Canada and United (was also the first passenger on Porter Airlines, if you know about it).

THis is my first time flying in Australia (here for our Christmas break), and I have a flight on Virgin Australia Cairns-Sydney and then on JetStar a few days later SYD-MEL.

A friend on flyertalk told me to check this out for advice and for lounge access, but I don't know where that thread is.

If anyone is in CNS tomorrow from 1000-1130, and would be able to guest me in that would be great, or in a few days in SYD on the 26th 1530-1730.

If anyone else has any advice on the 737-800 for Virgin flight or the A321 Jetstar flight, please let me know.

Thank you!

Hello to a fellow E50K martyr. Here's the Virgin discussion board.

Both flights will be crowded and they MAY be more stringent on carry-on during the Christmas period. Aussies take a bit less carry-on onto flights than your typical US flyer, but its still often tight. They don't gate-check. Try to board early.

Oh, and Senators suck. Go Flames :)

Thanks for the all the info! Also RooFlyer, i bet you get your status by flying that SYD-YVR flight...Myself, I fly YOW-YYZ-YWG-YEG-YYC-YVR Just to get segments (but both take about the same time tho!)

And go SENS :p

SYD-YVR-YYC for work :) I got to 100K a couple of years ago, back to 75K next year.

YOW-YYZ-YWG-YEG-YYC-YVR?. Oh, the horror! The horror!

Pity I didn't know you where in CNS could've had a drink or three :)

Something about Billy Bishop!
Sounds like a character from Degrassi High (If you remember the 80's!)
