? is 18/10 tsv-bne (stopover)-19/10 syd-dfw
return 1/11 dfw-bne, 3/11 bne-tsv all in economy $2320 (or close enough). Paid exit fee charge on trip over. The 180 was on top of the total I think.

Now seeing the PE sale is on want to pay the pe current sale price which is aprox. $1200 extra to what was paid for economy. Considered it worth it especially when I booked my seat months ago pe was just under $5000.

Can this be done seeing as exit row purchased and does this seat get credited of $180 separate on credit? And can the ticket being changed on line?

It's for my son who is bronze. I realize there will be change fee, etc. Many thanks. (Hope I've made my ? clear enough.)

no refund on exit rows, should be no upgrade/change fee if going to a higher class

once when i was booking with Flight center, they said no change fee when upgrading, this was prob 2 years ago. Not sure if its was a favour though.....

It really depends on the originl fare rules.

Some have no fee for upgrading, some rules kick you in the butt for just about thinking of it. :p

Exit row seat fees are not refundable in most situations.

Thanks for answers. Cost $200 for change to pe. Standard charge. My son and I are returning on different flts. and PE is nearly full on our flt. over and separate flts. back.

I have a feeling exit rows are non refundable.

The QF site does confirm that if you initiate the move between flights, you lose that extra money you paid for the seat.
Qantas Seat Selection | Exit Row Seats

That is what their terms and conditions say.

But interestingly they also say the following (although this is not related to the OP's issue):

7. Exit Row Seats are non-refundable if we have moved you to a seat in a higher cabin class for operational, safety or security reasons.
Now if you purchased an exit row, and were op-up'ed to premium economy window seat for 16 hours to DFW (for me at least i would consider that a worse seat) then 7. doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. They cannot deny you a product you have purchased for reasons of their own doing, and then not refund you.
