Cancelling QF International Claasic Award

Hi

I may need to cancel an intl QF classic award. I understand its 5000 points penalty for a return ticket if done online or 5000 pts plus service fee if over the phone.

Would anyone be kind enough to advise me the followinq

  • how long does it take for the points to be recredited back into my frequent flyer account
  • how long does the refund / credit of $ paid for taxes etc to be returned to my credit card
