I was just in one of my flight bookings and I noticed that there is no button to change the flight. Seeing it on multiple bookings.

I have previously been able to change flights on future bookings.

Anyone else notice this?

I have seen it before, but usuaully only of bookings made through a TA. The change needs to go through them. I did have it happen once to an online booking I made, but never really found out why, aside from the helpsuggesting that it was either not confirmed or paid for.

You haven't upgraded on the flight you're trying to change, are you?

I have seen it with a booking that was 'changed' by Qantas and thus unable to be modified again online. The flight in particular was one to Perth that was booked before the WA gov. announced the daylight savings trial (flight itself was in December). The operator who I spoke with said that due to the time change, QF had to 'rebook' something and thus all flights on that booking (it was a multi-leg one) couldn't be changed on-line.

Have any of your flights changed arrival/departure time? May be the same gremlins.

Sometimes when Qantas manually intervene in a booking it loses it's eligibility for online actioning. I have had this happen quite a few times; most recently when Qantas changed all the domestic NZ flight numbers.

I called Qantas and had my flight rescheduled. They wanted to charge a $10 fee, but I refused as the option to do it via the website is missing.

For reference, this flight was booking via the qantas.com website and fully paid for at the time of booking.

I have 6 booking with 10 flights, and there is no change flight option on any booking, which was previously available. One of the bookings is 'pay later'.

Yes. One of my other bookings had changed. Normally there is a 'confirm' button for this situation, but it was missing, so I called Qantas again to confirm this.

I was told to call the Qantas IT people on Monday to discuss the missing option.

How do others reschedule flights? Via the change flights option or calling Qantas directly?

I always used to call QFF to change flights. Last week in Sydney I had to reschedule my return flight so rang QFF and was surprised when I was told there would be a $10 change fee - I must have missed the correspondence regarding the implementation of this fee :(.

If possible I will try and change online, but that is not always practical if you don't have access to a PC/web.

Is the online change option available when using a portable device and the QF WAP portal - i.e. has anyone changed their booking using a smartphone for instance? I am about to upgrade my mobile phone and was looking at smartphones / Blackberry.

The last time it happened to me (Late 2006), I was charged the phone assistance fee. After I wrote a nastygram to QF cust. service, they promptly refunded it. No idea if being a SG at the time made any difference. ;)
