Can't Link Krisflyer Account to Velocity

Hi, I am having a drama linking my velocity account with singapore airlines krisflyer account

I did have an old krisflyer account linked to my velocity account which I have unlinked, but when I go to link my new krisflyer account I get an error which says

"
KrisFlyer account is already linked to another Velocity account.

Please double check and try again.
"

This krisflyer account has never been linked to any velocity account.

Any ideas?
 
Login into previous Krisflyer account
• click profile
• click partner programmes

you should see what velocity account your Krisflyer is attached to
If not linked in either Krisflyer you can do the Got a question Chat in the bottom right corner

Previous KF account was deactivated due to inactivity, I called Singapore airlines and asked if they knew why it wouldn't link, but couldn't provide much detail.

Velocity closed until Monday unfortunately
 
From within Velocity FF account
• Click Link and transfer

You should be able to see what the Connected partners are if any
Are you able to add Krisflyer in velocity?
If yes then velocity wont be able to help as its on Krisflyer side

Basically You will need to contact Krisflyer. Its not a Velocity problem

I can't connect my krisflyer account within velocity - that error is on the velocity linking page

i had this very issue.

You need to call Krisflyer

So you can't connect to velocity from within Krisflyer and also cannot connect to Krisflyer from within velocity?. Its not clear...

I think as you has a previous (but now deactivated) Krisflyer account, i still suggest contacting Krisflyer

no no no, its all on the velocity page, everytime i try to link my krisflyer account on the velocity partner link page, that error I initially mentioned is thrown up

when i try to do a partner programme link on the krisflyer website i get this following error "

This partner programme membership number is already registered with another KrisFlyer profile. Please verify your details and try again, or contact KrisFlyer Membership Services for assistance.

As indicated, you need to contact Krisflyer again.

Obviously, the person you spoke to needs training.

Hello. I've had this problem for the last 2 days. I contacted KF via phone and about 5 times via online chat. I had the number of what I thought was my expired account and this didn't resolve the issue. I ended up contacted velocity. They immediately could tell me the account that it had previously been connected to. Once I had this number KF unlinked the account. I immediately could connect after refreshing and reloggin to velocity and then transferred points. The transfer was pretty much immediate. Contact with both KF and Velocity was really quick every time. Might have just been lucky. Hope this helps someone else.

HI, did you manage to get it sorted? I have tried a few times but unsuccessfully. If you had any luck would you mind to share what did you have to do to sort it out?

I called the KF contact team and they fixed it on their end for me. Took a few calls to get someone who knew what I was on about however
