Cape Town restaurant recommendation

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a fine dining establishment in Cape Town? Ideally it will be for dinner (so a nice view isn't important). After something with old world charm. Cuisine, French inspired would be my preference, but open to any suggestions.

If you go for a drive to the cape, Harbour house at Kalk Bay is excellent. Everything in Cape Town is also amazingly cheap, even 5 star restaurants.

Totally agree that food is so cheap for us going over in South Africa. Can't give specific places, many many excellent ones. We stayed One and Only hotel at the waterfront a couple of years back and breakfast was amazing!!!! The service everywhere in South Africa is outstanding!
