Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you guys know about a little Car hire trick that I've been using for about 20 years now!

Citroen along with Peugeot and Renault have a car hire system. Citroen one is called Citroen Europass!

Pretty much it's exactly the same as any other car hire but the main points are below:

1. Brand New Car off the lot.
2. Car hire fees per day same if not less than destination and paid in Australian Dollars.
3. Australian office to contact and speak to.
4. Insurance and Road side assistance cover.
5. Pick up in major European Cities.

I've used them many times and are reputable and I've never had a problem with them.
Usually when you arrive at your pickup airport, there is someone either waiting at the airport or it's a short walk to the office.

I recommend this to anyone wanting to hire a car for over 21 days in Europe. I usually hire the car for over 45 days. Most I've hired the car has been 55 days.

It is old buy a car with guaranteed buy back that a few European car manufacturers have had for years. My father used to do it back in the 1970s.
So not renting a car so basically only feasible with a longer period.

More like a novated lease arrangement without the salary sacrifice benefit!
