Well after 10years + of faultless driving.....car brakes locked up(not sure if fault with car as doing less than 50kms) slid into right lane traffic going same way and damaged their car aswell. So what's the procedure?
Dent in both cars.
Any advice...do's and don't?

Take photo's of hire car?

Cheers

Edit: Eurocar in Australia slid into other car in other lane.(same direction of traffic)
Slight damage to hire car bumper and damage to other car front wheel housing, flat tyre, used tow truck to move their car.

Other driver stated he could see in trouble and very odd at the speed(low) how it occured...not hard braking.

Hired on CBA PLAT card but I think it won't help.
Will need to seriously consider the might ANZ card that for $25 gives you excess reduction to $200 I think!

You have insurance , you just have to pay the excess to the car rental company, if you have annual travel insurance that will also reduce the excess in most cases although it's a case of claiming the difference back which will take 4 weeks or more.
