Carry On luggage

Just checking out dimensions and note that Qatar has size limit of 50 cms. I want to buy a hard shell and note that the smallest is 55cms. How strict is Qatar on size? Travelling in J if that makes any difference.

In my experience, not very, and certainly not in J. But, you never know...

Done a few trips with them in J and never had a second look from them, but mine is a pretty standard carry on. Given the cough that goes on board all airlines these days, I reckon you'll be ok.
