Cathay Lounge in HK

what's the name of the Cathay lounge in HK QF Gold OW Sapphire members have access to when travelling economy on CX?

Is it any good?

Have used both the wing and the pier. My preference is definitely the wing. I was using the the F lounge due to WP. There is table service for drinks, and a restaraunt for the meals.

I have found the F dining room at The Wing and The Pier to be pretty much identical. In fact, the only difference I have found between The Wing and The Pier is that The Wing has a more open feel due to being on the Mezanine level above the departure gate level, while The Pier is actually located on the arrivals level (though access is via lift/escalator from departure level near gate 64) and hence has no view.

The Wing has Cabanas and The Pier has Day Rooms in the F section.

My choice on which to use is always driven by two factors:
  • The Pier does not open until 7am, so if making an early morning connection I head for The Wing
  • Which lounge is closest to my departure gate
