CBA Diamond MasterCard offered... no, sent!

Opened an envelope from CBA today and it contained two new Diamond MasterCards. I think they tried this on us a couple of years ago but I wasn't interested in the extra costs. I probably just cut them up.

Am currently just Gold (even SG) but they've offered me this at NO EXTRA COST on the Gold. However I am certain it will go up to whatever extravagant charge a Diamond card is next year.

Seems rather irresponsible sending out credit cards in the mail we haven't requested. I guess dogs have been receiving credit cards for years so it's nothing new.

How does one get a credit card for the dog these days?

Might as well accept it. NAB, CBA, ANZ and to a lesser extent WBC know they have terrible cards and have tried to get around it by free upgrades. Their only redeeming feature is ATO based.
