CBR J lounge & new terminal

Just had the chance to fly through CBR for the first time since the new terminal was completed and just wanted to mention how much I liked it - especially compared to what they had at CBR previously! Efficient, modern and clean. The QF J lounge was also very good (puts MEL to shame) and wasn't too crowded. Good food and friendly service on offer too.

Yes the new CBR terminal is great and the J lounge is very good indeed.
The terminal just needs more shops airside I think!

The lounge would be perfect if it had a view. My usual lounge activity is to find a comfy seat, a beverage and watch the airport activity.

Watching the glass elevators of the carpark as is the case in the CBR J lounge just doesn't do it for me.

yes, the positioning of the QP vs the QP-J seems incorrect!

Agree i can understand the decision apart from the fact there was more space airside and I presume they require more space as everyone in CBR is a member of the QP!!!!

But I love it, it is functional with very efficient staff.

Yeah, the placement of the J lounge compared to the QP is a little strange, that said the new terminal is massive improvement over the old terminal.

Agree with the shops airside (and an ATM airside wouldn't hurt either), but the new terminal is only 40% completed, there is still another 60% to be added on, so more will be added then... I expect where security is now will turn into shops as security was going to be in the middle of the terminal, not to one side.
