Chairmans Lounge by accident

Hehe. Yeah read that article a while ago.

Similar to Molly Meldrum's dilemma with his FF points being credited to another "Molly Meldrum".

Wouldn't mind at least a peak into a domestic CL lounge. Obviously I hang around the wrong ppl :D

What's also interesting to read at the above link is the story entitled "Bangkok: How Qantas risked safety to save money". Mind you the Qantas biggots on this forum would still argue that Qantas is the safest airline in the world and without a major crash.

Me, I'd rather take my chances and fly an airline that I can expect quality service on, even at the back of the plane!

Oooh. Opening a can of worms there you are!

How QF handled the BKK incident is interesting.

However... I'd fly QF over most other airlines in a flash. There are many other airlines that fly into BKK that I wouldn't trust though...

Scroll down past half-way to a story entitled "What Chairman's Lounge really offers"..to those who have been aound this Board for a while, does that story sound familiar...I believe the story teller frequents this Board and FT

Well remembered Lindsay and meloz. It also jogged my memory.

IIRC, the bit about the woman with 2 young children being downgraded to accommodate the CL's family was announced on AFF with a certain degree of glee and gloating. The poster was promptly invited to lose the "attitude". Don't actually recall seeing further posts from this person, but then I don't even recall the name.

Well you have the correct memory of this person, tuapekastar. But I won't name them on the thread, to save them embarrassment (plus, I'm a gentleman). They don't post any more here (but probably lurks).

I remember the name as well. He posted another question on upgrade eligibility a couple of months after his spectacular debut on AFF but has been quiet since then.

Interesting :!:

There is something juicy to be revealed here but the natives have closed ranks. :

I will have to check through all members to find gossip. Serves me right for not paying attention in the first place.

The poster did subsequently edit his posts and remove what he had posted, so there is only a little bit of evidence left of what he posted. Which is a good thing given his attitude.

If it's the same as FT, then it isn't that juicy

Ah.. the old edit the post trick. I hate it when people do that. :x

Everybody made it sound very juicy. :? No point in going back over old posts trying to find the "edited" not so juicy gossip then.

I would not have described the contect as juicy (and I think it was a bit different to what was on FT). As has been mentioned it was about the attitude (e.g. the way he talked about getting someone downgraded)
