Change classic rewards flight to day without availability

I tried it on for those playing along at home. Nothing to change to on the website via manage bookings. I called QANTAS, she said nothing here to change you to. Let me cancel without penalty though.

Sorry that was a little joke.

When booking award seats and cancelling there is no guarantee those seats will go back into inventory.

Looking at NRT-CNS for 23 Feb there are now ‘no seats’. The first set of seats start from 24 Feb. While they may come back overnight, it’s not a given.
