Hertz are changing the conditions associated with renting out one of their BMW Range.

1) All models will simply require an authorisation hold on pickup of the rental amount + (standard) $80. (This is down from the $1000 + rental amount for the X5s)
2) All models will have unlimited km for 1-14 rental days. If the rental goes beyond 14 days there is a 100km/day limit on the car

The 118i, 320i, X3 2.0i - all have the standard excess of $3500, while the X5 3.0d has the prestige excess of $5500. There is also excessive one-way fees to take them interstate ($1500), while BNE-OOL has a $250 one way fee.

More BMWs are expected to come onto fleet over the next month or so.

Hope this is some help :)

Well considering they are turning away customers with confirmed bookings for the BMW's they would want to hope they have more cars on the way.

I really feel sorry for the front-line staff who have to tell a customer, sorry we don't have your BMW but here, drive a Toyota/Kia/Hyundai for the same price
