Changing destination of a DSC trip

Hi all, I was wondering whether it's possible to change both the dates and destination of an already booked DSC trip? I had booked a work return trip to the US during the Feb DSC promo, but for various reasons I may have to cancel the trip. I booked saver tickets so the cancellation cost is $200, but I was thinking that perhaps instead of cancelling I could change the flights ($125 for a change) to another time and another destination. But I was wondering whether it's possible to do such a change and still keep the same PNR and thus DSC? If so, I would plan to basically turn this new trip into a mini status run, just enough to make up for the lost amount I was going to get on the original trip. If the new trip cost less than the original trip (roughly $3k) then I suppose I would also get money back (minus the change fee)? Or would it only be in the form of travel credit? Thanks for your help.

I believe that the DSC promotion is attached to the PNR - the PNR still needs to flown within the set promotional dates.

I did this recently; you just need to ensure (as above responder noted) that the PNR remains the same and its still within the promo dates.

Is this something that needs to be done by the call center or can I do it online?

I would be doing it online - if its straight forward, no issues - who knows what you'll get from the call centre.

Self management is probably safer.
Thanks, unfortunately I'm looking at changing the destination, I'll need to speak to the call center 🤞

I changed the origin of a AAA-ZZZ-WWW flight with dates the same.
QF phone agents (2 calls) were less than helpful. Gave me no confidence they knew what they were doing or the process. (QF Gold status)
So cancelled the flights online to a voucher and 2 minutes later booked BBB-ZZZ-WWW on line and paid an extra $90. (same PNR)
DSC posted 24hrs after the flights
