Have J flights booked cough-SIN-PER on SQ via a VA points redemption for 3 pax (2 adult & 1 infant) on May 14.

Now considering moving them back one day.
There's no visible availability through VA website, but I've checked SQ and there seems to be award space on May 15 for the same flight numbers I have locked in now on the previous day.

I know changing my booking will involve a phone call toVA and cost me $120.
What I'd like to know is will the VA phone agent be likely to see those available seats on SQ and thus secure them for me.

And will I be able to select me seat choice at same time? I have no status if that's relevantbto the topic.

Yes VA agents will be able to see those SQ award seats. Just ask for SQ reference no. so you can select your seats via KrisFlyer App.

seat selection is easy. The Itin and receipt from VA shows the SQ PNR and you can just use that on SQ site or the app.....or contact VA as supa007 suggests

Thanks. Will see how I go.

Just decided I'd like an extra day in Fukuoka. Maybe see some baseball and enjoy the sights. The wife is not convinced though, because apparently extending a holiday is an odd thing to want to do. Women!

Wow GarrettM you still need to learn about women. Never argue about money and never try to understand how they they think. You just go with the flow.....
