hello everyone, first time caller long time listener

can someone tell me about the legitimacy of the adds on this site re: cheap business class seats

r they legal and do the airlines abide by them?

thanks

I believe the ads on this site are by google, hence the ads are different for each user.

Without knowing the specific ads, I guess the age old adage remains if it sounds too good to be true...

If you press reply with quote, it will quote the post you are looking to reply to.

Without knowing the specific ad, it is likely to be a site that is on selling frequent flyer miles as cheap business seats. You will find easier ways to fly up front for cheaper here. If you look at Avianca life miles for one is a good start.

anyhoo thanks for the tip, i shall look into avianca miles............if i dont have any frequent miles programs with any airline is it best to deal directly with an airline?

thanks

Welcome to AFF billthecat Out of interest I submitted a quote request to that site. They came back with a not so competitive cost of around $5400 plus for a Europe J return. As the tickets are paid for by points you will be unable to credit miles to any FF scheme. ie. You will not earn any.

As a comparison for a similar outlay it is possible to buy a retail J fare Europe return on Finnair, sometimes Lufthansa and Air France/KLM and others on which you will also earn FF miles. If flying US return a J seat can be had on Fiji for around this price.

Now if you read the Avianca thread you will learn how to do it for around $3,000.
.

thanks prozac

$5400 to europe business class i feel is a good deal

yr reference to "j" is this code for business class?

Its not a good deal, as a miles and status point earning flight can be had for that. If you don't care for miles etc, the knowledge centre will point you in the direction go bringing it down closer to $2000 return.

Welcome to AFF billthecat!

Good luck in your search for cheap business class. It would be much cheaper buying miles directly from airline and using those miles to book the flights.
