Not sure how long these fares are 'on sale' - but they have been there for a while. Came across them because UL is not playing ball with any '25%-off' offers ATM.
Fares ex SIN to CDG/FRA/LHR are available for between $2100-$2400 on VN, via either SGN or HAN depending on your destination.
Also depending on your destination (LHR/FRA), flights from Viet Nam are on the 787 or A350 - both with full flat business class product. Some Paris flights (to/from SGN) are still using the old 772s with recliner (almost but not quite angled flat) seats.
Interestingly the very cheapest fares out of Paris on the return allow you to take the Air France operated codeshare. But its a 77W still with the old angled lie-flats. But AF food and wine is good.
Flight times ex SIN vary, but if taking the 1330 flight there is a somewhat brutal 7 hours (give or take) transit in Vietnam. This can be reduced if taking a later flight ex SIN, but these don't always show on the VN site. The return flights have transits of just under 2 hours.
Sample dates for the above are Oct returning Nov. Think they are also available other months. Book direct on the VN website, or for a few more options, use expedia hong kong (which is slightly more expensive by about AUD100 or so).
