I am not sure if this is the right place to post this so apologies if not ...

Yesterday i went to book a RTW fare- just a basic 26000 miles- leaving end of June. We managed to get a one world fare for 3100 approx including taxes and the travel agent said that he thought it may have been a mistake because it was so cheap for high season and the fare covered all dates until Mar 07. It had only been released yesterday.

Is this a good fare for peak season and if so are we likely to have any problems if they have made an error? Was he just saying this to get us to sign up?

thanks

I think you are referring to the Oneworld Alliance version brought in to combat the star alliance"midi" round the world. I think you are allowed a maximum of 5 stopovers.

That sounds like a very good price. I have been looking at something similar on the best flights website and for high season it is $3089 + taxes. I assume taxes can be anywhere from $350-$400.
