Cheap Perth to Hong Kong Flights

Hey guys,
Does anyone know of any good cheap flights for 2 to hong kong?
Me and Mrs are planning to go on 23rd Nov to the 30th Nov.

I got PER-HKG return through QF's sale fare for $900 earlier this week. The sale was supposed to have ended but a quick review of the site tells me that the fare is still on offer, but the dates only extend to the end of October at this stage.

Air Asia will get you there for about $600 per person, although you can't check through from PER-HKG, so you will have to exit and recheckin at KL.

Cathay's website, on the other hand, quoted $6700 per person. Yes, Aussie dollars. I would suggest a better deal could be obtained by a TA...:shock:

I was hoping going on cathay pacific but it is hell $$$$$ :evil:

Websites such as Webjet or Zuji are good to show what is available in terms of prices.
There seems to be a bug with the CX website where it only shows the most expensive fare for some reason.
Perhaps a phone call to CX reservations in Oz may be able to shed some light on why the prices are so exorbitant?

Yeah the Cathay website is really having issues- for return PER-HKG only showing fully flex economy fare, for 6-7 grand. However if you go elsewhere and have a HKG stopover it seems to sort itself out a bit- PER-HEL-HKG-PER is 2900 over christmas... Odd! As mannej said, websites for vague pricing guide then I'd be ringing CX or a TA... Good luck!

Don't forget Jetstar via SIN.
You can purchase PER-SIN-HKG all in one ticket and should be able to get bags checked the whole way through as all flights are 3K operated.
Regular, non-sale JetSaver Light fares are $336 AUD for the PER-SIN-HKG leg and $1,722.79 HKD (~$220 AUD) for the HKG-SIN-PER leg, if you book each leg independently, so that's $556 return.
However, these prices are currently only until 17th November. I would suggest waiting a few weeks and seeing what the prices are doing then.

It's hard trying to find airfare, u can get cheap airfare but not cheap hotel or u can get cheap hotel but expensive hotel.
