Recently flew to Fiji.On board food can be bought with either Kiwi or Aussie dollars on a 1 for 1 basis.So if you have any of those flightless dollars take them along for a much better exchange rate than you will get at a bank.
As well the crew were mainly Kiwis and the sandwiches and wraps were from NZ.The last time I was associated with an airline the Kiwis took over it disappeared.

Must admit, I have rarely succumbed to buying food on board (I have weakened on a few occasions though), but I think I may have to go the whole hog in July when I fly Ted LAS-MCO-MIA-LAS (the MCO-MIA leg is ground transport, for those people who were going to tell me that Ted doesn't fly MCO-MIA).
