I have been looking through the VFF page for the cheapest point flights to Europe out of Brisbane/Sydney. I am very flexible on time of travel but the combination of 29 potential destinations with the 365 days in the year results in some 10,500+ combinations. I have done a few random pics but always seem to end up with days that have no reward seats available (i.e. only Saver and Flexi purchases on points).
Can anyone shed light on when I am likely to pick up the cheapest points flight or how I can most easily go about locating it. e.g. are there some destinations for which reward flights are never available? Similarly I can happily knock out school holidays but how many days either side of these do I need to go not to waste my time searching?
