Can any one tell me what is the cheapest airline or way to get from Sydney to London about September this year. I have travelled on various airlines over the years and have found all of them give poor service for the price so feel that if I am going to be forced to sit in a seat that is so uncomfortable that you fell that you are sitting in a 30 year old truck with the rudest couldnt care less cabin crew are on your plane I might as well look for the cheapest price.

I understand FedEx and DHL have some special deals going at the moment :D .

You have a few choices. You can purchase a cheap fare from one of the many cheap Asian or Middle Eastern carriers operating the route (such as Etihad, Royal Brunei etc), or look for a combination of low-cost carriers, such as Tiger to Asia then something like Oasis Hong Kong to Europe. but be aware of the restrictions and risks of using such a combination of LCC.

I tend to find with airline service just like everything else in life that you tend to get whatever it is you expect to get, life is a mirror.

I won't deny there are some terrible cabin crew floating around, but for the most part I receive excellent service in economy and business class wherever I fly.

Have to agree with TG here, be nice and you will get nice !
Generally i think most of the OW airlines (since i fly them more but also the others like SQ) give good service in whY and seats are comfortable enough, a lot better than years ago.

I would try to make sure you book a through fare with a single airline.
Makes the whole process a lot less risky.

we can wrap you in bubble wrap and sticky tape then place a fragile sticker on you via DHL or FedEx

From what i've seen recently Royal Brunei appear to be cheap.

Royal Brunei is cheap in J and whY with, as correctly pointed out, some nice deals at present. Routing is a bit rough though - up to Brunei, across to UAE (usually Dubai) and then London.

No alcohol served, but you can take your own, and the very comforting travellers prayer before every take-off.

I note the OP hasn't been heard of since.

I wonder why...
