Has anyone seen this site before:
Free credit report, credit score, credit check from checkmyfile Australia
They claim:
"See instantly how lenders credit score you, find lenders matched to your credit score, and find out how to improve your credit score, all free"
and "We were the first company in the World to open the lid on the mystery of credit scores. For this completely free service, we use a commercial application score card which is very similar to those used by the very largest lenders."
In Australia, the site looks fairly useless, and an attempt to get money off people who could get similar information for free (eg their own credit reports from the credit reporting agencies), and general common sense.
The directors of the company have been involved in similar websites in the UK and US previously, so it looks like they've just taken their idea from the UK and imported it into Australia.
Is this the general perception others have, or am I missing something?
