Anyone travelling the Roo recently have the pork belly cooked in a thick sauce starting with Chi_ _ _ _?

If so, what is the name of the sauce? It was V nice and want to try it at home!

Some more info would help such as the colour of the sauce, style/country of cooking, flight route, cabin class etc. If it was international then the menus are sometimes published online.

Right now the only thing I can think of with the letters chi, k and m is kimchi pork belly which is Korean style and red in colour.

Is kimchi not actually cabbage ( pickled)?
Yes kimchi as a standalone dish is fermented vegetables (usually cabbage, sometimes radish or cucumber) with a mix of seasonings which include brine, spices, ginger, radish, garlic and red chilli peppers which gives its distinctive red coloring and flavour (considered to be an acquired taste for westerners).
But sometimes the flavouring itself may be refered to as kimchi sauce.

Nice to know, thanks.
