Mrs D and Ms D have gone on girlie weekend for gift shopping.
Their instructions were:

DJ Amex for fuel
DJ Amex at DJ's and ask for gift wrapping.
Citi Select at all other retailers.
Amex plat charge at the hotel (unless they surcharge more than 1.5%; use EFTPOS)
Amex plat at restaurants (unless a Citi select partner, in which case use it and ask for the free wine)
DJ Amex at supermarkets on way home

They both glared at me and drive off!

What?

I don't believe those instructions are hard......maybe a reminder SMS to make sure there is no confusion

Easy. Say if they don't do it they can fly Y!

Has been a very tough year this year so am thinking Wish Giftcards for our very small number of staff. 3pts/$1 ? :)

All very clear my end. Can't say I have a lot of confidence in any familial instruction quite frankly.

You forgot one instruction. If shopping at Myer, go to Woolworths and buy Myer gift cards there (2.25 QFF points per dollar on the spend on DJs AMEX, although no EDR points on gift cards). Spend said gift cards in Myer.

My family will have all sorts of trouble with those instructions:shock:

That's far too complex.

Mine are:
1. Amex plat edge for supermarkets and fuel
2. Earth plat Amex
3. Woolies card if they don't take Amex. It's the orange one.

It is getting a little hard to remember what card to use where though. :?:

1. Amex Plat Charge for all overseas charges, and Australian restaurants, hotels (non IHG) and non QF flights. (Except for QF flights originating overseas.)
2. Qantas Ultimate Card for all QF Australian expenditure, bills, and general retail.
3. Citibusiness Gold Visa for Australian spend where Amex is not accepted plus all Australian IHG stays.
4. HSBC Qantas Plat Visa for overseas spend where Amex is not accepted.

More simple here:
Fuel and supermarkets - Amex Plat Edge
Everything else inc overseas - Citi Select (unless Amex MR bonus partner)

Now rely solely on flying and EDR for massing QFF points as have no credit card that earns QFF points.
