Citi Gold 2 points per $1

Just got Oct statement, found citibank credited me 1 point per $1 and 1 bonus point for every $1 as well, so that's 2 points per $1 on everything I spent in October.

Anyone got same bonus as well? Any idea why and when will it finish?

not me, in fact i only received 300 points on about $3000 spend. seems like some points threshold may have kicked in for me.

Yep - I have been receiving double points on all of my Citibank Gold VISA statements since October.
Foolishly (I thought at the time) I rang them up and asked them what the promotion was and how long it was going to continue (so I'd know for how long I shoud use my Citibank over my AMEX cards) - they told me they had no knowledge of any promotions and had no idea why I was receiving double points. After the event, I thought 'duh', thinking they'd change it - but nope, I have received double points since mid-October.

Let's just hope it keeps going!

I am still receiving double point too. However, one of my friend who just recently been upgraded to Plantimum just got 1 point per $.

A similar thread (http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/community/citibank-rewards-program/bonus-points-15580.html) has one member getting a bonus 0.5 pt, while another is getting a bonus 2.5 pt per dollar.

Go figure.
