Hi everyone.

Just off the phone with Citibank
They've lost my payment of $1500 onto my citibank platinum card made via bpay!

I was a bit suspicious when my online account showed the card was down about $1500 but the payment went up onto the system and I could/still can see it under my transactions.

However, when I received my printed statement from them in the mail today, the payment doesn't show and i'm $1500 behind!

Now they want me to call my bank and do a trace on the money, even though they know full well it went to the right place as I can see it on their own system- allegedly they can't.

Just want to let everyone else know in case you're missing payments too. It happened between the 5th and 8th March (2 similar payments but one showed up so not sure which is dodgy).

Assuming you sent it to the right account, payments don't get 'lost'. They don't fall off the back of a truck with no accountability.

Just track it down, and if it's citibank's fault - you should demand compensation.

Curious, what bank were you sending from?

If the OP could see it online at Citibank at one stage I think we can say the originator has done their job :)

I sent it from UniCredit, a university credit union. All other payments sent from them fhave worked and others that same month also came through.

The weirdest thing is that I can still see the payment on the online system.

Who's onlone system? Citibank's or UniCredit's.

The bank of most often use to bPay with, I can review the transaction online up to 120 dayes after the event. This includes, date requested, date processed, biller code and Reference/EFT code.
