Anyone had experience on how long it takes Qantas to validate and add missing points? Put in the claim on the Qantas website but apart from the automatic acknowledgment nothing in 10days.

Was it for a flight or a credit card or dining or something else?

Mannej is suggesting JQ will take 2 months which does sound like a pretty long time to wait. I hope it does not take that long to receive the points as they are supposed to be an incentive for flying with them.

My bet is 8 weeks to the day:cool:

Without being offensive "bloody hell" 8 weeks, arent they owned by the one company...

How about waiting 6 weeks before anyone at QF will even talk to you about missing SC. DSC offer & 80 SC missing, tomorrow will be 5 weeks since the flights - so I don't have that much longer to wait.

On a similar note...anyone flown Air Berlin since the tie up? If so, time to posting?

Wait the 14 business days and then ring the FF help desk. Offer to fax/email your BP and that should speed things up as they can enter the details manually.

I put in a claim recently for some missing AA flights and got the first two immediately but nothing for about 2 weeks for the ORC claim on the return trip. Maybe time for a call next week.

Copies of the ticket and various BPs all supplied.

Not having much luck right now.

Sent an email with E-ticket and boarding pass claiming Originating Routing Credit on 15 May and have heard from Qantas. Did not receive the auto confirmation email.

Spoke to someone early last week and they mentioned that it had not been received so I sent another email. Still no confirmation email.

On Friday I sent a fax with the details. See what happens now....

I put in a claim last week for a Qantaslink flight DRW-ASP and the points appeared after 48 hours

Yes I have always found them
Very good if you call. Most responsive

Same for me. One of the quirks of flying BA to the UK for me is the need for a codeshare flight to SYD from MEL and back. If I arrive early (both ways) QF has always managed to pop me onto an earlier flight. It is, however, hit and miss as to whether this gets picked up in the system. When I call they fix it up pretty quickly.
