Classic Awards

Just looking at my QFF online activity and every flight is showing up as "CLASSIC AWARD FLIGHT".

note - none of these flights were on "Award Redemption", so there's a bug somewhere.

An award booking I made recently is referred to as "CLASSIC AWARD POINTS DEDUCTION".

So it look like, Qantas are going to refer to the current scheme as "Classic Awards".

I wonder what they'll refer to the new scheme as?

Perhaps this explains why I can't get to my on-line statement at the moment. Perhaps they have noticed a bug relating to the upcoming changes.

Looks like a temporary glitch; it's back to normal ...

Still "CLASSIC AWARD" - you know it makes sense ...

It seems to be a retrospective change as my bookings made in Feb are referred to as Classic awards as well...

That name has been discussed before - The old system has been referred to as "Classic" - eg:

Yes, me too ..... my last flight was marked as Classic Award Flight, and from my vague memory I actually paid cash in full

Points taken - Planning - Money - Business - Home - smh.com.au

The new system will be called "Anyseat" (so probably "Anyseat awards")

Or "Neo-Classic" awards :mrgreen:

Perhaps it's happening to certain flights (e.g. Aussie Domestics) only? All my flights has been NZ domestic and international -- i.e. no AU domestic.

I think it was someone slipping a system change from development/test into the production environment by mistake as mine now just say AWARD rather than CLASSIC AWARD as they did a few days ago...

Probably the case, mine is back to normal this morning. Seems like they have a problem with their configuration management
