Hi All

Was looking for Qantas classic reward seat for SIN-SYD and found 1 x economy seat available for the date I wanted when doing the usual multi-city search on the Qantas site.

Weirdly, when doing the same search the 'normal' way on the Qantas main page (searching for cash fares), a CX J seat is available for classic reward redemption.

Is this a glitch and is the CX J seat 'real'? How safe is it to go ahead and book the CX class reward seat without issues? I do note people have mentioned they have their classic reward seat turning into a waitlist ticket after booking.

Thank you!

If you haven't done so already, I'd look to see if this seat is available on another Oneworld airline's awards booking page (e.g. BA or AA). Expertflyer is the other way of checking if this is real or phantom

Edit: sorry read your post the wrong way around!

Original: I have successfully booked the multi-city only view flights a couple times. Jump on it. EF doesn't even have these seats so it's pretty rare (and also annoying that they don't come up on EF)

Check that both actually are J, sometimes one leg will be Y
