Thank you for participating in the Aston Martin Promotion on www.drive.com.au. Unfortunately the Aston Martin Prize wasn't won but the winner is now planning their holiday in Europe, the consolation prize in the promotion. We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as Skiddoo, who will be helping the winner with their European travel plans.


This is the promo e-mail I got after I entered a free comp to win an Aston Martin. The bit that got me is the fact they seem to have had a Clayton's competition - you know, "win an AM............no, we've decided to keep the car and somebody can have a holiday instead..."

Nah, the only words I saw were ASTON MARTIN. Far too much trouble for me to read the T&C's of a free competition which I entered with nil expectations anyway........LOL

So, anyway, if you won the competition the prize was a "ticket" in another competition - albeit one with better odds...WOW
