Ah missed out on this one. Oh well!
I also missed this, but I emailed Club Carlson and they matched my Accor Platinum status to Club Carlson Gold. Took them about a week to reply but once they did it was updated overnight.

What's the deal with this Club Carlson?
Radisson is the choice hotel for the company now.
They pay, he stays.
When it was a hotel with Priority Points got em.
This mob the same deal?
Register stay....do you swipe a card or anything?

Sorry,
what? Maybe it's me, and it could well be, but I don't understand a word of that.

Do you have a phone from a non-English supplier and that's their verson of auto-correct?

Take two on explaining my post.
Company place of stay was Hilton.
Staying in Hilton you received Priority reward points, even if you did not pay the bill.
You presented rewards card. It was swiped for staying in Hilton.
The company now stays in Radisson hotels that has Club Carlson.
Again the company pays the bill.
Can you join Carson Club and receive a swipe card and receive reward points for being the person occupying the room?
Feel free to edit my english, grammar and anything else in the post.....I went to a public school.

Reception can sign you up to club Carlson when you check in next. Yes you will get a card but if its a hotel you stay at regularly they normally just add your membership number when a reservation is made. Yes you should receive points for most rates. You also will get free internet.

I find the program runs pretty seamlessly.

I used this some months back and it's worked well. Have only had reason to stay in a CC hotel once (the Radisson Blu in Baden Baden), but status was recognised. The card was sent quite quickly (within three weeks).

Was pleasantly surprised at the redemptions as well - booking for a room in Reykjavik for one night in July was either impossible (no room) or exorbitant, but we were able to get one for 9000 points. Not bad if you consider that I received 17000 for the 2 night Baden Baden stay! Park Inn certainly isn't fancy, but it's clean and comfy enough to sleep in between flying in that night and starting our driving holiday the next morning, and great value if you compare to something like HH.
