Flew on the golden triangle tonight and was interested to see the Business cabin manager go through and clean the economy cabin, twice. The 3 economy staff did the initial drop, but were nowhere to be seen in the cleanup.
Is there some industrial action going on?

So it's call "industrial action" when the cabin manager decides to help their team out. Just enjoy your flight cuz and don't think too hard.

Thanks for the explanation, but it was framed as a query and I would also say that a business CSM clearing the economy cabin twice with no other crew in sight (as reported) is a bit unusual and worthy of comment on a forum like this.

Agree. The flights are short enough. Some CMs are busy looking after pax, some head down the back.

Not everyone does it but it does exist. Some do it to be nice, give their crew a break/can properly time manage the business cabin.

some head down the back.
This is where some pax be like "the CM left us to fend for ourselves for 20 minutes" 😂

Fun fact a rubbish run can take 20 mins due to being stuck with a queue of people behind you for the toilets

Yeah the 20 mins when I want a drink and a snack bar for my 1,500 dollar flight across Australia. One wonders what the reaction would
be if I actually did "fend for myself" in the front galley ..happy to trial it....🤭🤪
