Re: Virgin Lounge Food

What I'd really like in the Lounge is bottled water (still) in a plastic bottle. They have carbonated stuff in glass which isn't that practical - I don't like carbonated stuff much anyway on its own. Of course I could simply bring my own from home but then I could bring a cut lunch too couldn't I? And a thermos.

Re: Virgin Lounge Food

OT, in a similar vein, but I recently travelled on a fairly expensive Y tkt on SAS OSL-ZRH. I was offered to buy food and drink, but I just wanted a glass of water please. The FA held up a 1 lt bottle of water and quoted a lot of Euros, I was a bit aghast at having to try to drink so much water whilst jammed into the window of a set of 3 and politely said that just a glass would do. She pursed her lips and thrust a glass of water at me. Add that service to the broken seat belt and being told to stay just where I was until landing was an unforgettable unpleasant flight.
