“COCA-COLA DISCOUNT ACCOMMODATION” OFFER

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
  1. Purchase a specially marked 1.25L, 1.5L or 2L PET bottle of 'Coca-Cola', 'diet Coke' or ‘Coke Zero’ or a specially marked 1.25L or 2L bottle of ‘Fanta’, ‘Lift’ or ‘Sprite’ (“Promotional Packs”) from a participating outlet during the Offer Period.
  2. Visit the website www.cola-cola.com.au/summerfun (“Website”) during the Offer Period and complete the online registration form as prompted, including the last 4 digits of the barcode from the label of your Promotional Pack, to receive a discount voucher (“Voucher”) via e-mail for 50% off the published rack rate for accommodation in a twin or double standard room (minimum 2 nights stay - which requires 2 labels from Promotional Packs) redeemable at any participating Australian hotel listed on the Website during the Offer Period (the “Offer”), subject to availability at the chosen hotel and these Terms and Conditions. Additional labels from Promotional Packs can be pooled together for additional nights stay (ie, 3 labels for 3 nights, etc).

I think the only point earning program with hotels at 50% off rack rate is SPG. There are some Sheratons and Four Points in the list.

Some Rydges and Stamfords though...

Would you be able to earn SPG points with this promotion?

With programs like PC and Hilton Honors deep discount room rates are ineligible for points earning.
 
Best to ask SPG directly, but I think that you earn points with SPG, if you book using an SPG50 voucher. Essentially this is the same thing.
