Just an update re our hacked Coles gift cards. Finally, after 10 months, we received two replacement cards totalling $100 for the $50+ we lost. However, it took a complaint to AFCA to finally get this resolved by the Australian based division of InComm - the company who financially manage the cards. Apparently InComm are planning to include a PIN number in future stocks which should go a long way to make the cards more secure. For us, no more Coles Gift Cards until this is instigated.
I was appalled by the lack of responsibility from either Coles or Heritage Bank - both brands clearly advertised on the cards - and their last replies to us were so similiar I would not be surprised if AI was the author.
