Thanks! Yes I wanted a clean site with no ads whatsoever. Took a week to work out how to remove all the unwanted ads from my blog, but I managed to do it.

Wordpress is pretty limited in what I can/like to do, however there is the option later on to build a site and move there (maybe with the odd ad to justify the cost - minimal though). But that's a long way down the track, right now I am just focusing on building a following.

OTOH if I were to fly PER-CMB and were willing to forego the OW partner airline credits (somewhere) Air Asia (exPER) is still about $150 less expensive even with their "value pack" each way.
